The Website and the Services allow our Members to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks of contacts and colleagues. Members can view the non-private information in each others' profiles, communicate with and meet other users on the Services, share information and comments, and describe their interests.
To enrich our Users experience, the Website and the Services are designed such that certain personal information that we collect from our Members is displayed to other Users (your "Non-Private Information"), which allows our Users to identify each other and expand their network of contacts and colleagues. Members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other Users and MMT communicate with them, as described in this Privacy Statement. MMT collects certain information from you that is not generally displayed to other Users through the Services without your permission, including your full name, phone number, mailing address, IP address, income level, and email address (your "Private Information").
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE BY MMT
Members submit personally identifiable information (which includes both Private Information and Non-Private Information) to MMT when they register, such as name, mailing address, phone number, email address, username, in some cases credit card or other payment information when you upgrade Services online, and may include other profile data such as personal interests, gender, age, ethnicity, education, prior jobs, prior schools attended, lists of contacts, income level, and occupation.
When you send or receive email communications to or from another person (whether or not the person is a Member), a copy of the communication is stored on our (or our service provider's) systems (in, for example, your inbox, your sent items, or your deleted items). Communications through other channels that may be available through the Services, including instant messaging, text messaging, and chat, are generally not stored on our systems (although a transient copy of such communications may go through our (or our service providers') systems).
MMT also logs each User's IP address and browser type, as well as data about the time, duration, and order of pages viewed by the User.
MMT uses non-personally identifiable information (i.e., information that is not associated with any of your contact information) for a variety of marketing, operational, and other purposes, including for the purpose of managing the Website, tracking usage, selling advertising, and improving the Services.
MMT uses Members' email addresses for the purposes of allowing existing Members to invite new friends to join MMT, to add other Members to Members' friends' networks, and to send communications regarding the Services, including updates, newsletters, and administrative notices. If you send a communication through a Service to a non-MMT email address, your email address will be visible to the recipient(s). Otherwise, we do not display a Member's email address to persons within a Member's personal network. Members within a personal network communicate on MMT with each other through the Services, which does not automatically disclose their email addresses. However, members who voluntarily choose to provide their email address to other members within their personal network, do so at their own risk.
To facilitate searching and finding friends, contacts and acquaintances on the Services, MMT allows Members to search for and find other Members using a variety of search terms which may include by way of example, first and last name, email address, and schools and/or companies where the Member may have attended or worked. Thus, a search of your last name or email address by another Member may reveal the Non-Private Information in your profile.
From time to time, MMT or a partner may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on the Services. Members may be asked to provide personally identifiable information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. We may transfer personally identifiable information to certain partners from which you have requested to receive information. In such cases, the page on which the personally identifiable information is collected will state who is collecting the personally identifiable information and whose privacy statement will apply.
By submitting your personally identifiable information to MMT, you agree that we may process (i.e., collect, use, disclose, etc.) your personally identifiable information as described in this Privacy Statement. INVITATIONS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS TO NON-MEMBERS
Members can invite friends and colleagues to join the Services by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. MMT stores the email addresses that Members provide so that the recipients may be added to the list of the Member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. MMT does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and up to three invitation reminders (unless the email address is used in registration by a new Member). Recipients of invitations from MMT may contact MMT to request that MMT refrain from sending them emails.
Members may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal MMT address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.
If you are not a Member, you may prevent MMT email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address you control by sending a single email with the subject "BLOCK" to admin@makemillionstogether.com. Please note that the email must come from the email account you wish to block.
USE OF COOKIES
MMT uses cookies to store Users' preferences and to record session information, for several purposes including ensuring that Users are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and profile information. Members who no longer wish to receive updates, notifications or newsletters may indicate such preference within their user profile 'Account Settings.' All notification emails and MMT newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future. However, Members may not opt out of MMT administrative communications unless they choose to terminate membership.
THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING
Advertisements appearing on the Services may be delivered to Users by MMT or one of our Web advertising partners. As noted above, our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time it sends you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. Access to MMT Member accounts requires use of a username and a Member-created password. We take reasonable precautions to protect the security of your Private Information.
